May 18, 2024, marks the 48th International Museum Day（IMD）, with the theme "Museums for Education and Research." On May 17-18, the main event for the "5.18 International Museum Day" in Guangdong, co-hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government, will take place in Zhongshan city.
