On May 20th,?PolyU Zhongshan Technology and Innovation Research Institute-GBA Transformation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Transformation Center") was inaugurated at Zhongshan Chenxinghai Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Xiaolan Town. Taking the institute?as a carrier and Chen Xinghai Hospital and surrounding medical institutions as bases, the Center will build a collaborative ecosystem for clinical research and industry through the joint efforts of the government, hospitals, the institute, and enterprises. This aims to enable the research achievements of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University?(PolyU)?to serve people faster and more accurately.
5月20日，港理大（中山）技術(shù)創(chuàng)新研究院大灣區(qū)轉(zhuǎn)化中心（以下簡稱“轉(zhuǎn)化中心”）在位于小欖鎮(zhèn)的中山陳星海中西醫(yī)結(jié)合醫(yī)院揭牌, 該中心將以研究院為載體，以陳星海醫(yī)院及周邊醫(yī)療機構(gòu)為基地，通過政府、醫(yī)院、研究院、企業(yè)四方聯(lián)動，構(gòu)建臨床科研產(chǎn)業(yè)的協(xié)同生態(tài)，讓香港理工大學(xué)的科研成果更快更精準(zhǔn)服務(wù)于人。
In September 2023, Xiaolan Town and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University?(PolyU)?exchanged views on strengthening biotech transformation and industry-university-research cooperation between the two sides. Last April, the?Government?of?Xiaolan Town?signed a cooperation framework agreement with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to jointly establish a biotech transformation center and a clinical drug trial base. Leveraging PolyU's strengths in talent and scientific research, the Transformation Center will give full play to its advantages in chemical biology and drug research and development, clinical transformation, and international exchanges. It will promote more achievements to be applied clinically and radiate to hospitals in the Greater Bay Area. The first phase will introduce the PURE Index?Test?project.
2023年9月，小欖鎮(zhèn)與香港理工大學(xué)就如何加強雙方生物科技轉(zhuǎn)化和產(chǎn)學(xué)研合作進行交流探討。去年4月，小欖鎮(zhèn)政府與香港理工大學(xué)簽署合作框架協(xié)議，合作共建生物科技轉(zhuǎn)化中心及臨床藥物試驗基地。轉(zhuǎn)化中心將在化學(xué)生物學(xué)及藥物研發(fā)、臨床轉(zhuǎn)化、國際交流方面充分發(fā)揮港理大的人才、科研優(yōu)勢，推動更多成果實現(xiàn)臨床應(yīng)用并輻射大灣區(qū)醫(yī)院，首期入駐譜宜評分測試研發(fā)項目。
